CAMBRA DE COMERÇ DE GIRONA · Visual Identity and Campaign

The 6 videoconference dialogues of the Chamber of Commerce of Girona are born to address the transfer of knowledge from research centers to businesses and vice versa. To do this, they invite twelve personalities to illustrate their thoughts on the new times we are living in. As a substitute and guide, these '6 complementary dialogues' invite us to reflect on the knowledge society and the transfer of knowledge to society. In this new moment, we cannot look or verify as we have done before; we are invited to understand the scientific method, the foundations of logic, and to have a critical spirit.

AN IMAGE WITH THE 6

We have an event composed of six different segments, conversations between two high-level guests who will speak via videoconference. The concept of "6" gains strength, and we decide to use it for the event's visual identity. In this way, we create a small graphic element in the "eye" of the 6 that reminds us of a speech bubble. By extracting it from the 6, we already have the iconographic element that we will apply to achieve a cohesive identity. The red and black colors of the Girona Chamber of Commerce's visual identity serve as the color palette.

The next step is to choose 6 visually stunning photosthat convey sophistication, modernity... and above all, that each one is representative of the event it relates to. Photography captures the eye and grabs attention, in addition to conveying many emotions: we use it to create visual impact, together with the globe shape derived from the 6.

NEWSLETTER

Internal communication action. The electronic newsletter is a communication action with the audiences we already know (within our database). In this way, we directly inform our subscribers about the event, and in a more personal manner: they are the first to know about its existence and can sign up for it directly.

PRESS

It is in paper format, a medium we call 'conventional' or 'offline.' The relationship between the newspaper's audience (reader) and the Girona Chamber of Commerce is cross-cutting; therefore, it is a good support to reach more interested people, beyond our own database. The essential information from the Newsletter is adapted, and, in addition, considering the immediacy and expiration of newspapers, it is used to communicate it shortly in advance.

EXTRACT

This is the summary of essential information about the event, both for the specific video conference and for the entire set. In the case of the 6 complementary dialogues, this format is digital. It serves both before, during, and after the event, acting as an essential guide for the audience and participants. It has a rather institutional role and can be shared and forwarded, which gives it virality.
